The Ridges to Rivers trail system has been a very popular addition to the bolstering city of Boise, and as the Mountain Biking community in the area grew larger and more involved, the desire for a park to facilitate the further development of the sport in the area became a necessity. The foot of the network deposits at the top of Boise Bicycle Skills Park, encouraging users to work on fundamentals to high skill maneuvers after their trail ride.
The scope of work was as expected for any Municipal project; comprehensive, exacted, and monitored closely by the city. Irrigation and drainage design, ADA accessibility, family oriented programming, retention basins, rest areas and bathroom facilities were all designed.
Bike-related work included the design of trail, dirt jumps, pump tracks, installation of prefabricated features, test riding and integration with existing environment.
